    Hi Guys,

Sorry for my ignorance, just wanted to know how do you say "Control Arm Bushings" or "Control Arm" in French?

Found a guy who claims to be Volvo specialist, charging $35/h but speaks only French.

    Thanks
    Kami

    Ah! Les maudits francophones...

If he's a real Volvo specialist (or even general mechanic) he SHOULD know what is a Control arm bushing.

C'est vrai...un specialiste Volvo devrait connaitre tres bien les "bushings de table"...

              Suggestion of translation:

Control arm = bras de suspension

Control arm bushing = bague de bras de suspension

Thanks for helps, actually i didn't communicate with him about this subject yet, i was going to send him an email since he doesn't speak English at all and i don't speak French (just imagine what a mess this might become ), he is a Volvo mechanic (he claims) and owns a shop somewhere near Montreal like 20 minutes drive, and charges $35/h... so let's see.

                    What's his name?
                    Name of his shop?
                    Where?

Someone probably knows him or experiened the way he works.

Service Blainville is also 20 minutes away from Montreal, they charge $55/hour and have a reputation above reproach. There is also Eurosomething in Montreal that charges the same amount. See the garage/dealer section further down in this forum.

and don't forget europexpert close to st-jean sur Richelieu about 20-25 minutes from Montreal south shore
Taken from the internet : "You go to a “Volvo get together” and the cars are almost all beat rust buckets driven by stereotypical socially inept early 20-year-olds with a few even weirder older guys."
